Our presence at IFTEX 2023
Missing an edition of the IFTEX fair, a highlight of the horticultural industry season? Unthinkable for UVRER, which once again flew to Nairobi, Kenya to meet its historical partners and new players in this flourishing market.
A tenth edition unanimously considered a success, as the horticulture market shines and suggests more than interesting development prospects, guided by a common desire of producers and industrial partners to focus on innovation and respect for the environment.
This desire is found among many producers in East Africa equipped with UVRER devices. Facing many challenges related to the disinfection of products before shipment and the destruction of parasitic fungi jeopardizing their production, these professionals are now relying on sustainable turnkey solutions adapted to their needs.
UVRER has been present on the African horticultural market for more than 30 years. Expertise in joint evolution with the new challenges of the market.
A stand dedicated to our UV expertise
Surface disinfection, water treatment, air purification… We presented to the many visitors our UV treatment solutions adapted to the needs of the horticultural market. We mainly discussed the following issues:
- Anti-Botrytis protection, without chemicals
- Recycling and disinfection of nutrient solutions
- Recycling and disinfection of post-harvest solutions
- Elimination of microorganisms in suspension in cold rooms
We would like to thank the visitors to the IFTEX fair for visiting our stand and talking about many topics and development prospects for the horticultural market.
Visit of equipped farms
In addition to our presence at IFTEX, we took advantage of our presence in Kenya to visit the facilities of many farms already equipped as well as flower growers interested in the benefits of our UV solutions.
In addition to enjoying the superb Kenyan landscapes, these visits allowed us to discuss with the users of our devices our future collaborations which will respond to the growing challenges of the horticultural sector.
UVRER will be resolutely at the forefront of the development of this market in the coming years, supporting companies wishing to equip themselves with the best technologies available for a sustainable impact, on the economic, ecological and social levels.
