Our ultraviolet technology explained
In a context of sustainable development, ultraviolet (UVc) water treatment is an advantageous solution that is well suited to the current problems of many industries.
This technology is based on the use of UVc radiation which has the ability to destroy all types of germs (bactéria, fungi, molds…) Depending on the amount of radiation received, the living cell will either be sterilized (bacteriostatic effect) or destroyed (bactericidal effect) for maximum purification.
The effectiveness of UVc treatment in the elimination of micro-organisms will only be obtained under the conditions of the choice of equipment adapted to the volumes and quality of the water to be treated and of rigorous maintenance.
WHAT APPLICATIONS ?
INDUSTRIAL WATER REUSE
UVRER, manufacturer for four decades, designs specific UVc sterilizerz for industry, as well as for the agricultural and horticultural sectors, in the field of water reuse of all kinds.
Our company has been treating wastewater, industrial and other water (waste water treatment plant) for 40 years now on the bacteriological part. To return the water to its original state, it is necessary to reduce or completely eliminate the living (bacteria, viruses, yeasts, microalgae , mold)
In fact, returning reprocessed water to cooling tower requires disinfection because bacterial proliferation in aerosol is not good for health. As well as the use for washing, watering, returning to an ecosystem or, for example, recirculating nutrient solutions for horticulture. Bacterial abatement is imperative to limit the invasion of certain viral or bacterial strains that can take the upper hand.
TREATMENT OF CHEMICAL POLLUTANTS
Adapted to the field of chemistry and responding to problems that cannot be resolved by conventional methods, UVRER has developed a tailor-made semi-industrial pilot. This integrates all the elements necessary for the operation of the process on a single and unique skid (UVc reactors, pump, filtration, etc.)
In collaboration with major chemical accounts, we are developing processes for the treatment of many chemical pollutants and in particular organometallic complexes. Indeed, certain conventional treatment methods do not allow the treatment of metals when they are in the form of complexes with organic compounds.

We are developing modules based on an advanced oxidation process, combining UVc radiation and hydrogen peroxide) in order to separate organometallic complexes and allow their treatment in a conventional manner. UVRER accompanies its collaborators from the experimental phase (laboratory-scale tests, production of prototypes, etc.) to final installation.
